I am a family nurse practitioner for Edgewater Primary Care. I am currently caring for patients with acute and chronic diseases. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing from Purdue University. I am licensed in Illinois and Indiana. I have more than 15 years in healthcare; with five of those years being in nursing. I have authored an essay that was published in 2009, entitled “A Woman with a Purpose”. I belong to several professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

I am originally from Ohio. I have been living in Northwest Indiana since 2004. I am married to a wonderful man and we have two daughters. When I’m not caring for others, I enjoy spending time with my family/ friends and traveling. My personal goal is to complete a tandem sky dive!
